Wesley (Wes) Blaine Adams, 79

Wesley Adams, age 79, of Henderson, Nev., passed into eternity Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Wesley Blaine Adams was born June 23, 1946, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to David L. Adams and Lois Amelia “Mickey” Rosencrantz-Petersen. He was the second of nine children and grew up surrounded by a large and close-knit family.  

He is survived by his siblings: Georjean (Jerry, deceased) Kuntz; Kathy Garren; Wayne (Leatha) Adams; Merriann Irish; Randy (Tammy) Adams; Phillip Adams; and Becky (Dan) Hart. Wesley loved being part of a large extended family and was known as a kind-hearted and loving brother. He leaves behind many treasured memories that will be held dear by all who knew and loved him.

Wesley attended elementary, junior high and high school in Post Falls, graduating in 1964. To earn spending money during his school years, he worked at a local gas station and grocery store. After high school, he attended North Idaho Junior College from 1964 to 1965. In 1965, Wesley entered the United States Army, serving his country for two years. He was stationed in West Germany as a missileman and was honorably discharged in 1967. After his military service, Wesley began a long career in the railroad industry. He worked for the Milwaukee, St. Paul Railroad from 1967 to 1980, and later for Union Pacific until his retirement in 2003. After retiring from the railroad, Wesley moved to Las Vegas and worked in security at several casinos until 2017.

Wesley is preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Danny.

A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Hall in Post Falls, Idaho, on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m.
