Prairie Avenue Pavement Restoration Project Expected Start Date: May 26th Lakes Highway District in cooperation with Post Falls Highway District will be contracting the resurfacing of Prairie Avenue between Atlas Road and U.S. 95 in Hayden. Coeur d’Alene Paving anticipates starting their work beginning Tuesday after Memorial Day on May 26th. Work will consist of milling a portion of the existing pavement and then applying new asphalt and pavement markings. During construction lanes will be reduced to one lane in each direction. The public should expect delays if traveling through the project. Construction is expected to take 30-days, with completion prior to July 4th. East Hayden Lake Road Restoration Project Expected Start Date: June 30th Coeur d’Alene Paving will be performing rehabilitation work on behalf of Lakes Highway District to revitalize the East Hayden Lake Road from Hayden Creek to Mokins Creek. Approximately half of this project will include pulverization and recycling of the existing road. The full length of road will receive new asphalt pavement and markings beginning after June 30th.
