Raul K. Brown, 49, passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2026.
Raul dedicated much of his life to serving others as a firefighter, EMT and paramedic with several departments throughout the Valley. He was known for his courage, dedication and willingness to help anyone in need.
Outside of his service career, Raul was a free-spirited cowboy, bull rider, entrepreneur and adventurer who lived life with energy and passion. To know Raul was to know strength, compassion, adventure and a larger-than-life spirit.
Despite carrying struggles of his own in recent years, the core of who Raul was never changed. He cared deeply for the people he loved and left a lasting impact on many throughout his life.
Raul’s greatest legacy lives on through Trevor Brown, Cody (wife, Sam) Brown and Kayla (husband, Nathan) Feliksa.
He is also survived by his parents, Lily and Dennis Brown; his sisters, Ivy (husband, Ron) Redfield, Christine (husband, McKenzie) Keltner and Rhonda Ameline; and his brothers, Jeff McAllister and Randy (wife, Yvonne) Brown. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, along with many extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on July 11 at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Glacier Memorial Gardens and a reception at the Evergreen Fire Hall community room.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local fire department or a charity of your choice in honor of Raul’s spirit of service.
