COEUR D’ALENE — The countdown is officially on.
With less than 100 days until the North Idaho State Fair, excitement is building for 10 days packed with concerts, rodeo action, motorsports, family entertainment, and unforgettable Fair memories Aug. 21–30.
This year’s Fair theme, “Fun Is in the Mix,” comes to life through an entertainment lineup designed to offer something for every generation — from high-energy arena events to free daily attractions included with Fair admission.
The Fair kicks off opening weekend with two nights of motocross action Aug. 21 and 22, followed by the fan-favorite Demolition Derby on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 4 p.m. in Findlay Arena.
Five nights of PRCA Gem State Stampede Rodeo will once again bring top competitors and western tradition to the Fair, featuring crowd-favorite theme nights including Ag Night, Patriot Night, Tough Enough to Wear Pink, and more.
The Party in the Dirt Concert Series will also return with nationally recognized artists taking the stage in Findlay Arena. Country music star Lee Brice will perform Monday, Aug. 24, followed by Walker Hayes on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Concert tickets include Fair admission.
Beyond the arena, guests can enjoy a full lineup of free entertainment throughout the grounds each day of the Fair. Returning attractions include:

“The Fair is all about creating experiences families remember for years,” said Vanessa Brinkley, Fair spokeswoman. “From rodeo and concerts to daily entertainment and agriculture, there truly is something for everyone. We’re excited to welcome our community back for another incredible year.”
The North Idaho State Fair remains one of the region’s largest annual events, celebrating agriculture, youth programs, entertainment, and community traditions while welcoming hundreds of thousands of guests each summer.
