ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Mason Little, Sandpoint Baseball

This week's Athlete of the Week is Mason Little of Sandpoint Baseball.

A 5-foot-10-inch second baseman, Mason went a combined 8-for-9 with nine runs scored, 11 RBIs, three doubles, a triple, two home runs, two walks and a stolen base as he led the Bulldogs to a 5A State Championship title with a win over Twin Falls and two wins against Skyview. The standout senior, who also had five strikeouts over 3.1 innings on the mound in the championship game, finished the season with an impressive .452 batting average and .557 on-base percentage.
