Marie Jane Pittsley, 79

Jane, beloved mother to six children, passed away at her home in Rathdrum, Idaho, on May 8, surrounded by family, leaving a void that cannot be filled. 

She was born in Coeur d’Alene to Eldon and Evelyn Hull. Jane attended Post Falls High School before going to work at Playland Pier in Coeur d’Alene. She then dedicated her life to her family, raising six children. She was the consummate housewife. She was a devoted Christian who also loved her family at Living Water Fellowship in Rathdrum. 

Jane was a devoted mother to Darrell Hull, Loretta Bryant, David Thorp, Jeannie Hock, Susan Nelson and Kenneth Pittsley. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided. 

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Evelyn Hull, and her siblings, Eldon Hull Jr., Loren (Butch) Hull and Anna Mae Hagnes, husbands Alvin Offret, Rocky Emerson, Arlo Pittsley and daughter Jeannie Hock. 

She is survived by siblings Donald Hull, Ken Hull and Lyndal Murphy; children Darrell Hull, Loretta Bryant, David Thorp, Susan Nelson and Kenneth Pittsley; 12 grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren and extended family, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. 

A celebration of life will be held July 11 at The Links Golf Club from 4 to 7 p.m.
