The Cutthroats, competing with just 12 players this season, defeated Great Falls Fury by a score of 4-3 before falling to NW Sharpshooters Green (6-3) and Brian's Bunch (5-4) in pool play on day one. The boys then rebounded on day two, defeating Falcons Black (6-4) to advance to their respective division title match, where they got revenge on Great Falls Fury with a 3-2 win in double overtime. After a save by goalie David Moore, Tyson Symons scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Hanu DuVall. “This is my fourth year coaching this group, and it’s been incredible to watch their growth," head coach Parker Davis said. "... What makes me the most proud isn’t just the wins or medals, it’s the chemistry and brotherhood these boys have built together... They show up to practice with great attitudes, they work hard, and most importantly, they conduct themselves as respectful young men off the field. Their hard work is continuing to pay off."
