Tennis playing well heading into divisionals this week

Columbia Falls tennis played a lot of matches last week. Both teams beat Libby 6-1 last Tuesday and later in the day the girls beat Bigfork 5-2 and the boys blanked them 7-0.
On Thursday the girls blanked Stevi 7-0 and the boys won 4-3.
The next day they had a doubleheader against Corvallis and Hamilton.
The girls beat Corvallis 4-3, but the boys lost 4-2.
Against Hamilton scores were incomplete.
On the girls’ side, Ella Heppner is playing well at No. 1 singles, while Bailey Wimdauer has been solid in the No. 2 spot.
The doubles team of Madi Yerian and Alanis Petersen are playing well.
William Oberholtzer leads the boys in No. 1 singles and Sol Master and Jack Austin are the No. 1 doubles team.
They compete in the divisional tourney this week in Polson. Matches start on Thursday.
