Track tunes up heading to divisionals

The girls tied for third and the boys took fourth at the Polson ABC Invitational track meet Saturday to wrap up the regular season.

Highlights for the girls included Soli Bullemer, who won the  won the pole vault with a leap of 11-6. Maddy Barker and Bullemer took second and third in the triple jump.

Rachell Ruther was fourth in the shot put.

Mila Johns was third in the 1,600. Peyton Ross was fourth in the 400.

On the boys’ side, Tristian Archuletta won the pole vault with a 11-6. Miles Colliander was second in the 110 hurdles. The boys took third in the 400 relay.

Joe West took second in the javelin. Dylan Owens was third in the high jump.

The teams also competed in a dual with Glacier High on the road Tuesday.

Easton Brooks was second in the long jump. West was second in the discus. The boys won the 1600 relay with Cash Short, Boden Dezzani, Loren Connors, Oscar Metallo in 4:08.93. They also won the 400 relay in 44.76 with Bryant Jolleymore, Miles Colliander, Trip Ross, Jett Brandeberry.

Ayer Powell took third in the 1,600. Short won the 800 in 2:08.40.

Peyton Ross tied for first in the long jump with a 16-5; Bullemer was third.

Ross won the pole vault with a 9-0.

Maddy Barker won the high jump with a 4-8.

Freshman Hazel Matson won the 100 hurdles with a 17.89.

Findley Dezzani was second in the 1,600.

Johns was second in the 800, Isla Alexander was third. Ashley Andrews was third in the 400. and second in the 200. 

The teams travel to Frenchtown for the Western A divisional. State is in Laurel the following weekend.
