Whitefish High School details graduation amid construction

The Whitefish High School 2026 graduation ceremony is on Saturday, June 6 at 1 p.m. at the high school. Commencement will proceed in the gym despite demolition of the gym’s foyer due to expansion project construction.  

Guests will enter through the main gym entrance on the east side of the building, facing the track area. The entrance will be clearly marked with a large “Gym Entry” banner. Doors open to guests at noon.  

Parking will be available in the following areas: North parking lots, east parking lot, along Fourth Street, along Pine Avenue, Muldown parking lots and annex parking lot.  

To assist guests, especially those parking farther away from the gym, two trolleys from Montana Trolley Company will provide shuttle service to and from the gym entrance area at no charge.  

Portable restrooms will be located on the east side of the building near the gym entrance and parking area. One ADA-accessible restroom will be available inside the building near the gym. 

Following the ceremony, the traditional cap toss will take place in the south courtyard of the high school.
