Jim Riley, 72

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Jim Russell Riley, 72, who passed away peacefully at his home in Kasilof, Alaska, of natural causes on May 16, 2026.

He was born on Oct. 13, 1953, in Bemidji, Minnesota. He is survived by his children, Josh, Jamie, and Kris Riley; his brothers, Les and Ron Riley; along with many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Jim was preceded in death by both of his parents and many other family members.

He will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, at 2 p.m. May 23 at his son's home in Kasilof, Alaska.
