Piggly Wiggly Co. is opening a store in Bonner Ferry in the Estlund building next to the Rex Theater. P.J. Noel, district manager, states that this is the 24th store to open in the district.
Boundary Count Fish and Game Association are hosting the 3rd annual picnic on Sunday at Bonner Lake. Everyone is invited to attend. Many fun contests will be held.
The City Garage has the Hudson Coach on sale for $1,379 with its patented Super Six Motor.

The Addie Bridge was washed out by a rain storm.
The George Ogden home at Deep Creek was destroyed by fire.
The school board announced that double shifting may have to continue.

Bernadette Kirk-Bonner and her daughter, Jessica Tingley, are organizing the first "Run for the Fallen" in honor of Sgt. Josh Kirk and other Idaho soldiers who have died while serving their country in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Idaho's economy generated more jobs than expected in April, putting over 3,000 people back to work.
The Bonners Ferry Badger Baseball team took their first ever third place finish in the Idaho 3A State Tournament.
