Rhudell "Rhudi" Forrest Miller was born April 16, 1940, and passed April 7, 2026, at home after a courageous battle with metastatic malignant melanoma. Beloved and devoted friend in addition to cherished Wife, Mom, and Grandma, Rhudi will forever be remembered for her kind and generous heart, eternally positive outlook, and giving spirit.
Born in Western Pennsylvania to a family with four siblings, Rhudi graduated from Monaca High School in 1958 as Salutatorian, then headed to Westminster College in New Wilmington to major in Biology, where she met the love of her life, Wayne, with whom she would have celebrated 62 years of marriage on April 25.
Rhudi and Wayne raised their children in Fallbrook, California, following Wayne’s service as a surgeon in the Navy Medical Corps at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Rhudi was director of medical records at the local hospital, was active in the Presbyterian Church, and volunteered with numerous local organizations. Retiring with Wayne to the Flathead Valley in 2001, Rhudi easily made new friends through her church and volunteer activities, including her beloved P.E.O. Sisterhood and work with Intermountain.
Rhudi is survived by her husband, Wayne, children, Kurt (Shari) Miller and Kirsten (James) Holland, and four grandchildren. Her warm smile and quick wit are never far from our thoughts.
A private celebration of life will be held later this summer.
