Bonieta Blumer, 83

Bonieta (Bonnie) N. Blumer, 83, passed peacefully in her sleep on May 13, 2026, in Longview, WA after a short battle with cancer. She was born on December 24, 1942, to Matthew T. Polish and IvaMay Polish in Butte, MT. She grew up in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead High School. After getting married, she moved to Anchorage, AK where her and her husband raised four kids. She later moved to Woodland, WA to be near family.
She was a very welcoming person with a warm personality. She was fiercely independent, shared her many talents, and was a “Mother to All”. She enjoyed her various sewing projects as well as being a grandmother to her 10 grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking and looked forward to days of being able to bake goodies for her family.
She is survived by her children: Richard J Blumer Jr., spouse and children; Leilani A Lamoreaux, spouse and children; Johnico Bashford-Blumer, spouse and children, and Roland E. Blumer, spouse and children. Her siblings JP Schwab and family, Del Polish and family, Dorothy Sollman, and Rosalie Pritchard and family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
