'Care Close to Home' event set

An upcoming community event is focused on prenatal support and local OB care.

Set for June 4, the "Care Close to Home" event will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. at Regeneration Calvary Chapel. The event is 7B Care Clinic in partnership with Newport Hospital & Health Services.

Organizers said the event will focus on the growing need for prenatal care in the community, how Life Choices serves women and families, and the vision for helping bridge the gap in local OB care through compassionate support and medical partnership.

Attendees will hear from the clinic's RN, as well as a partnering physician, about the importance of prenatal care, the barriers many women face in accessing consistent support, and how community partnership can help bring additional OB care closer to home.

This event is an opportunity to share the need, answer questions, and invite our community to be part of a practical and compassionate solution.

Community members, supporters, pastors, business leaders, and anyone interested in learning more about local prenatal care needs are encouraged to attend.
