Chet Hill is Western C champ for Tigers

Chet Hill is only a freshman, but he is already a champion. And then some.
Leading the way for the St. Regis Tigers at the Western C divisional track and field meet in Missoula last Friday and Saturday, the young but athletic Hill scored a one-three for 16 team points for the Tigers, winning the 1600 meters in 4:58.09 and placing third in the 800 (2:07.42).
Both times were personal best for the Tiger frosh by the way, in the biggest meet of the season yet.
Christian Fenton (fourth in the boys 3200 meters) and Jamie Cleveland (fourth in the girls long jump) are the other two St. Regis athletes who will be moving on to this week’s State C meet in Laurel. Cleveland also just missed qualifying for the State C in the 100 meters, finishing seventh in that race.
