Sandra (Chapman) Worley, 81

Sandra Chapman Worley, 81, passed away on April 30, at Logan Hospital in Kalispell with her family by her side. 

Sandi was born in Minot, North Dakota on April 29, 1945 to Kathryn and Joe DiMeo.

She has two brothers, Ricky Di Meo and James DiMeo and wife Carmen. of Mesquite, Nevada. 

Her two nephews, Roger DiMeo his wife, Diane and Joseph DiMeo his wife, April of Kalispell.

She married Russell Chapman in 1965. They had 2 children, Jennifer Chapman of Bigfork and Stuart Chapman of Polson. They divorced March 16, 1999. 

She later married Bill Worley and moved to Hot Springs where they lived together for 16 years until Bill passed away. She remained at their home until moving to Kalispell Nursing and Rehabilitation April 2025. 

She was a life member of the Kalispell Ladies Auxiliary Post 2252.

Sandra worked as a CNA at Lakeview Care Center in Bigfork for 12 years and worked at Immanuel Lutheran Care Center for six years. When she retired, she moved to Hot Springs with her husband and traveled south during winter months and ran their flea market booth. 

She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Rather it be playing card or just enjoying conversation. She enjoyed reading books, playing bingo, Jeopardy, Yahtzee, Scrabble and taking car trips.

She always had a smile on her face and was always there for you if you needed to talk, shoulder to lean and cry on. She would give you a big hug and say “everything will be alright, don't give up, stay positive, and there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.” 

Sandi turned one of her hobbies into a small selling and barter business that she called Sandi's Books Lil Bits, gems and jewelry.

Sandi has two granddaughters that brought her lots of love and laughter. She enjoyed spending time with them talking about their days and goings-on. Granddaughter Leesa and husband Deven Broad of Kalispell and granddaughter Lakayla and husband Brandon Lockhart of Wasilla, Alaska.

She was blessed with 12 great-grandkids; ten boys and two girls, that she loved and adored with all her heart. Her face would light up with love, happiness, joy and great pride every time she would see them or talk about them with family and friends. 

Sandi was a wife, mother, sister and best friend; she will be greatly missed and is loved by everyone. 

Sandi was preceded in death by her mother, father, two husbands, a brother and one great grandson.

Funeral Service will be June 24th at 11 a.m. at Foster Funeral Home with graveyard services to follow at Snyelmn Sntmtmne Cemetery in St. Ignatius.

There will be a gathering afterwards at the Good Old Days Park, 228 Mountain View Drive, St. Ignatius where there will be a potluck for all family and friends to join and remember Sandra.
