20 Grand to perform at Wachholz College Center’s open house

Whitefish-based funk band, 20 Grand, is set to perform a free concert June 18 for the Wachholz College Center’s fourth annual open house and 2026-27 lineup preview. 

Influenced by hip hop, jazz and soul, 20 Grand is a nine-piece band that “delivers a powerful musical experience led by a blend of freestyle rap, layered horns and powerhouse vocals,” according to 20grandfunk.com. 

The family-friendly event begins at 4:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 6 p.m. at the O’Shaughnessy Outdoor Amphitheatre. Attendees may bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. There will be food trucks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.  

As part of the celebration, the Wachholz will waive ticket service fees for attendees who purchase tickets to upcoming shows during the event. Glacier Symphony will also showcase its upcoming season, offering season subscription packages and early access to single ticket sales, with no service fees on single ticket sales. There will also be ticket giveaways throughout the evening. 

“We love bringing the community together for this event and giving everyone a chance to see some of the amazing shows we have booked for next season,” Wachholz College Center Director Matt Laughlin said.
