The junior from Coeur d'Alene High and North Idaho College was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region IV team.
Schmidt was the Cascade Conference Newcomer of the Year after going 19-4 with a 1.66 ERA — leading the team with six shutouts, three saves and 159 strikeouts.

Waddington, a 6-foot-3 sophomore guard from Lake City High, became the first player in program history to lead the Lady Griz in points (389), rebounds (195), assists (83), blocks (30) and steals (38), during the 2025-26 season, earning second team All-Big Sky Conference honors. Waddington, who started 30 of 31 games, averaged 13 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for Montana (9-22).
Annastasia Peters

Peters, a junior from Post Falls High, will compete in the women's 10,000-meter run in the NCAA West Regional tonight at 6:10 in Fayetteville, Ark. Peters is seeded 17th in the race (32 minutes, 45.80 seconds). The top 12 finishers advance to nationals in Eugene in June.
