The Flathead Valley’s new children’s museum, Wildtorium is marking its opening with a ceremony on May 28, at 4 p.m. at 120 Financial Drive in Kalispell.
The community is invited to visit Wildtorium throughout the afternoon during regular public hours from 2 to 6 p.m., with the official ribbon-cutting ceremony taking place at 4 p.m. Community members are welcome to stop in, tour the museum, and learn more about the project, while families wishing to stay and play inside the exhibit space can purchase daily admission or memberships.
Wildtorium is designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and connection through interactive exhibits focused on “The Science of Play.” The museum’s pilot location features spaces centered around engineering, motion, creativity, and problem-solving for children and their adults to experience together.
“We’re incredibly excited to officially welcome the community into Wildtorium,” said Brittney Crest, executive director of Wildtorium. “This project was built with the vision of creating a place where children and their adults can connect, imagine, build, and learn together. The support from the Flathead Valley has been amazing, and we’re excited to continue growing alongside this community.”
The opening celebration will include discounts and prizes, live robot demonstrations from RoboScout Squad, light refreshments and opportunities to explore the museum’s interactive exhibits.
