MOSCOW — Idaho head football coach Thomas Ford Jr. recently announced the signing of Oregon State University wide receiver transfer Zack Card.

A 5-foot-9-inch pass catcher originally from Brentwood, Calif., Card is coming off his third season in Corvallis, where he appeared in 11 games for the Beavers, tallying nine grabs for 64 yards, including three for 19 yards in the Beavers' season finale at Washington State. As a redshirt freshman in 2024, Card appeared in all 11 games for OSU, recording five catches for a total of 35 yards to go along with a rushing touchdown in the Beavers' win over Purdue. In 2023, Card caught five passes, including four in one game, while preserving his redshirt status.

Coming out of Brentwood, Calif., Card established himself as a dynamic athlete in the Bay Area, recording a combined 71 catches for 1,411 yards and 15 touchdowns in his final two seasons at Pittsburg High. He supplemented his receiving totals with two scores on the ground, and 123 tackles and two interceptions on defense over that two-year span. Pittsburg had a record of 21-6 across those two years, going a perfect 10-0 in league play, and appeared in the CIF State Football Championship Bowl Game in 2023.

Card, a former three-star recruit, will join a receiver room as a playmaker with experience at the highest levels of college football, adding to a roster filled with offensive weapons in Ryan Jezioro, Tony Harste, Marquawn McCraney and Daveon Superales.
