SPOKANE — James Morast had a two-run single in the first inning, then added RBI singles in the second and fourth inning for the Prairie Cardinals in a 12-2 win over the Spokane Rawlings Tigers in their second game of the day Saturday at the Whitworth Prospect Series at Spokane Falls Community College.
Grady Stinson had two hits and three RBIs for Prairie (4-1), which finished with 14 hits.
Eric Wylie, who played at Timberlake High, and James Togiailua (Coeur d'Alene High) had RBIs for the Tigers.
Earlier, Aaron Fuzesy limited the Cardinals to two hits, striking out 11 in a 4-0 win by OBC of Miles City, Mont.
Prairie wraps up tourney play today, then hosts Coeur d’Alene in a Class AA North Idaho League game on Tuesday at Brett James Memorial Field in Post Falls at 5:30 p.m.
