Lori Lynn Eddings, 66, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Hollis Stewart officiating.

Lori was born on December 14, 1959, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Charles and Alta Vincent. She lived in Kimberly, Idaho, with her parents and four siblings until 1976, when the family moved to Sandpoint.

She married David Gregg in 1979, and together they welcomed a daughter, Tiffany. Though they later separated, they remained friends.

Lori worked in retail for several years, including at the Fashion Bug in Gunnings Alley and JC Penney when it was located on the corner of First and Cedar, later moving with the store to its final location in the Bonner Mall. She eventually transitioned into real estate, initially with Sandpoint Realty before finding her home at Title One (formerly Sandpoint Title). She joined the company in 1995 and remained there until her retirement in 2023.

Lori met Jim Eddings through mutual friends in 1993, and there was an immediate connection. They fell deeply in love and were married in 1996, beginning a partnership that would span 30 years. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion. They loved traveling, fishing, camping, and exploring wherever the road might lead them. Yet it was often the small, everyday expressions of love that defined their marriage most beautifully. Throughout their three decades together, Lori and Jim exchanged handwritten love notes, often leaving them hidden throughout the house for one another to find. These notes became a cherished tradition and a reflection of the deep affection, friendship, and gratitude they shared every day. Their love was evident to everyone who knew them and remained a constant source of joy and strength throughout their lives together.

Lori enjoyed working with people and making those around her laugh. She was playful and quick-witted, always had a tale to tell and was able to connect with anyone she met. Her warmth, humor, and genuine interest in others made people feel seen and valued.

Above all else, Lori cherished her role as a grandmother. Her grandchildren brought her endless pride and happiness, and some of her most treasured moments were spent loving, supporting, and creating memories with them.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents; numerous aunts and uncles, most notably her aunt Patricia Parks, whose influence played a significant role throughout her life; her sister, Melinda Hoekema; her sister-in-law, Sally Vincent; and her nephews, Steven Bryant and Matthew Vincent.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim Eddings Jr., of Sandpoint, Idaho; her daughter, Tiffany (Greg) Jackson, of Sandpoint, Idaho; her step-sons, Kyle (Laura) Eddings, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, and Jon (Lauren) Eddings of Ault, Colorado; grandchildren, Jade Neitzke, Tristan Neitzke, Joshua Jackson, Landon Eddings, Noah Eddings, Brooklyn Eddings; Bailey Eddings

and Taylor Eddings; and her siblings, Curtis Vincent of Burley, Idaho, Cherie (Brett) Moore of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Janine (Bob) Lichty of Cocolalla, Idaho.
