Sandra Jean House, 72, was born Jan. 9, 1954, in Butte to Floyd "Bud" and Elizabeth "Betty" Strozzi. She grew up in Whitehall with her three brothers and graduated high school there.

She worked at the state hospital in Boulder, where she was introduced to her future husband, William House, by her friend and future sister-in-law, Shirley House. They were married in August of 1977. They had their only child, Jamie, in 1981, while she was working her 28-year career at Swan River School. She got to do what she enjoyed: working with all the kids, who remembered her long after retirement.

Sandy and Bill were longtime snowbirds, traveling to Yuma, Arizona, in the winter and spoiling their grandchildren throughout the year.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Bill; daughter Jamie; son-in-law Dean; granddaughters Mikayla and Lily; brothers, Wayne (Judy), Rick, Shawn (Kris) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Betty Strozzi, and her sisters-in-law Shirley House and Lori Strozzi.
