Noella Ann (Hodges) Brooks, 73, was born on Dec. 24, 1952, and passed away on June 12, 2026. She was a woman whose love, kindness, humor, creativity, and strength touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Noella is survived by husband Bruce, her loving companion in life; and children Stephanie (fiancée Robert), Erika (husband Bobby), Derek (fiancée Holly), and Austen; grandchildren Serenity (husband Axl), Grady, TJ, and Barrett; as well as many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by parents Orville and Virginia, sister Bonnie, brother Terry, and son-in-law Brian.

Her legacy endures in the warmth, values, and devotion she instilled in each generation of her family. As a mother, Noella was endlessly supportive. She spent countless hours driving her children to and from sports practices, games, school events, activities, and every adventure or interest they wanted to pursue. No matter how busy life became, she was always there waiting in parking lots, cheering from the sidelines, offering encouragement, and ensuring her children had every opportunity to grow, learn, and follow their passions.

Noella loved birds, especially hummingbirds. Watching them dart and hover around her yard brought her endless happiness. She loved plants and flowers and the beauty they brought to her home. She was incredibly creative, she crafted beautiful stained-glass pieces and enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was famous for her homemade pickles and signature spaghetti dinners. Those meals were never just about the food-they were about love, laughter, conversation, and bringing family and friends together around the table.

The measure of a life is not found in years alone, but in the love shared, the lives touched, and the memories created. By that measure, Noella lived a beautiful and deeply meaningful life.

Rest peacefully, Noella. You are greatly missed. Thank you for your love, your laughter, your strength, your endless support, and your unwavering devotion to your family. You taught us how to care deeply, love generously, and stand up for what matters. The lives you touched are better because of you, and your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
