Sandra A. Friss passed away peacefully on Oct. 26, 2026, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with Dementia.

She was born on April 22, 1943, in Westfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of Cecil and Kathryn Linton. She had one sister, Marlene Linehan.

Sandy married the love of her life, Bob Friss. They shared more than 60 wonderful years together before he passed away in 2022. After spending most of their life in New England, Bob and Sandy were excited to start a new adventure in Libby, Montana after they retired.

She loved playing board games, singing along to the Beach Boys, and visiting with her family and friends. She especially loved looking at the mountain views after spending a day in her beautiful gardens.

She leaves behind her greatest joys of her life; son David Friss (Wendy) of Libby, Montana and daughter Karen Parker (John) of Southwick, Massachusetts. Sandy will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored, Megan Thompson (Bryan) of Libby, Montana, Nate Friss (Kayla) of Libby, Montana, Josh Parker (Jessica) of Southwick, Massachusetts, Garett Parker (Alyssa) of Westfield, Massachusetts, and Maggie Castanera (Chris) of Westfield, Massachusetts; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law Richard Friss of Libby, Montana.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, at Schnackenberg and Riddle Funeral Home of Libby.
