Acclaimed stand-up comedian, actor and author, Tom Papa, returns to the Wachholz College Center April 8.

With more than 30 years in stand-up comedy, Papa has become one of the country’s leading comedic voices, building a successful career across television, film, radio, podcasts and the live stage. Known for his thoughtful, candid take on family, relationships and the absurdities of daily life, Papa connects with audiences through humor that is both insightful and universally relatable.

Beyond stand-up, Papa is an accomplished author and contributing writer to The New Yorker. His books include “We’re All in This Together … So Make Some Room” and “You’re Doing Great! — And Other Reasons to Stay Alive,” both filled with his signature humor and observations on the shared challenges of being human. Papa also hosts the podcast “Breaking Bread with Tom Papa,” featuring conversations about food, life and the connections made around the table.

His extensive career includes appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show and Conan. He also co-wrote and starred alongside Matt Damon in the Steven Soderbergh film “The Informant!” as well as starring opposite Robert DeNiro in “Analyze That."
