Notice of November 3, 2026, General Election; Notice of Close of Regular Voter Registration and Option for Late Registration Notice is hereby given that in Lake County, on November 3, 2026, a General Election will be held to elect federal, state, and county candidates. The following ballot measures will also be considered: CI-132, CI-133, I-194, Amending the Polson City Charter: For the adoption of the amendments to the city charter recommended by the local government review study commission or For the existing city charter (more information can be found at: cityofpolson.com) and the Rollins Rural Fire District Levy: Shall the Rollins Rural Fire District be authorized to levy $175,000 annually, being approximately 15.74 mills, on a permanent basis, for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving fire protection, rescue services, personnel, training, equipment, facilities, daytime response capability, emergency response capability, and operational readiness within the Rollins Rural Fire District? The fiscal impact on a home having a market value of $100,000 is estimated to be $11.96 annually. The fiscal impact on a home having a market value of $300,000 is estimated to be $35.88 annually. The fiscal impact on a home having a market value of $600,000 is estimated to be $85.92 annually. An increase in property taxes may lead to an increase in rental costs. CSKT REQUEST FOR PROPSALS (RFP) REQUEST FOR BIDS ON ARIEL HERBICIDE APPLICATION FLATHEAD RESERVATION MONTANA Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT or Tribes) The CSKT Tribal Lands Department (Department or TLD) is seeking a qualified commercial applicator to perform helicopter herbicide application. Herbicide applications are planned for 1,849 acres of Tribal lands within the Flathead Reservation during fall 2026. Additional acres may be added for herbicide/seeding applications. PROJECT GOAL The goal is to perform the above work during the fall of 2026 in a safe, effective and timely manner. PROJECT WORK AND TIMELINE The work to be performed consists of using a helicopter to apply herbicides on approximately 1,849 acres within the project location (please email [email protected] for a Map).
