POST FALLS — Senior Taylor Smith had two goals and an assist for the Panthers in an Intermountain League win over the Spartans at The Fields.

"I think we played incredibly sloppy tonight," Coeur d'Alene Charter coach Craig Daigle said. "We struggled with our possession and spacing all night. It was nice to get all of our available seniors player time with it being senior night, but a coaching mistake on my behalf led to a late goal from Priest River. I need to do a better job coaching all 80 minutes. Credit Priest River for still pressing in the 79th minute. Now we need to shift focus to Post Falls."

POST FALLS — Senior Sierra Sheppard notched a hat trick and two assists and sophomore Avery Thompson also had a hat trick for the Panthers in an Intermountain League win over the Spartans at The Fields.

"It was a beautiful evening for senior night," Coeur d'Alene Charter coach Stacy Smith said. "We started off a bit sloppy in our connecting and decision making, but were able to clear that up, especially early in the second half to find some excellent goal scoring opportunities. Sierra took control of distributing and goal scoring tonight. I can't believe we're already to this point of the season. The good news is that we still have a few league games with these girls and then on to districts. We're not ready to say goodbye to our three seniors yet."
