Clark Fork 3, Mullan 0

MULLAN — Behind 10 kills from freshman Grace Thompson, the Clark Fork Wampus Cats swept (25-16, 25-9, 25-16) North Star League foe, the Mullan Tigers, to extend their unbeaten streak to 12-0 on Tuesday.

Behind Thompson's stellar day, Clark Fork got six kills, six aces and seven digs from sophomore Vanessa Rogier. Fellow sophomore Kiylah Anderson added five aces, in addition to 16 assists and three kills.

Clark Fork's excellence at the serving line extended throughout the lineup with senior Nora-Jean Hoy totaling a team-high seven aces and freshman Kourtney Rogier adding another six aces.

"I have a lot of respect for Mullan and the toughness that coach Dawn McKinnon instills in her girls," Clark Fork head coach Lydnsie Kiebert-Carey said. "They threw some new things at us that forced us to adjust. Our team stayed focused and aggressive from the service line, which helped us secure the sweep."

The sweep is the third in a row for Clark Fork, a streak which is emblematic of the Wampus Cats' dominance in 2026. This season, Clark Fork has lost only three sets and won 36 en route to their 12-0 overall record and 5-0 record in the North Star League.

The Wampus Cats will next travel to face league rival Coeur du Christ, whom they swept on Sept. 22, today at 7 p.m.

Priest River 3, St. Maries 1

PRIEST RIVER — A dominant third set helped the Priest River Spartans best Central Idaho League opponent St. Maries (25-21, 22-25, 25-14, 25-10) on Tuesday night.

The Spartans got double-digit kills from junior McKinley Burgess-Duquette, who had a team-high 14, and senior Raygn Turner, who contributed 12 kills and nine aces. Freshman Ava Griesemer stepped up to add eight kills and a team-high three blocks.

"Took us a little bit to find a groove. Once we got going, we didn’t look back," Priest River head coach Katyln Ward said. "Everyone was able to get in the game. Two of our floaters even got kills, Ava and Ella Ackerman."

Seniors Callie Stanger and Haylee Jepson-Church were defensive machines, with Stanger leading the Spartans with 23 digs while Jepson-Church added 16. Jepson-Church also contributed 25 assists against the Lumberjacks to help Priest River move to 9-3 overall and 4-2 in league play.

Next up for Priest River is a trip to Spirit Lake to face 4A Timberlake in a nonleague game today at 7 p.m.
