MOSES LAKE — Two Moses Lake men were killed when their SUV ran into the back of a semitruck about five miles west of Moses Lake Wednesday night.
Brody Milbrandt, 29, and Craig Dennis, 27, were driving eastbound on Interstate 90 near Hiawatha Road when they hit a truck in front of them, according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol. The crash occurred at about 9:45 p.m.
The truck, driven by Miguel Urena, 31, Moses Lake, continued eastbound, the WSP memo said. Urena was not injured.
The vehicle driven by Milbrandt came to rest in the eastbound lanes and closed the eastbound freeway for about six hours.
An earlier version of this story misidentified the type of vehicle the two men were driving. It has been corrected above.
