As cross country scores go, you can’t do better than Glacier’s girls did at their triangular meet Thursday.

Behind Lauren Bissen, the Wolfpack claimed the top seven girls spots and won the Glacier Invitational with 15 points at Rebecca Farm.

The Glacier boys were almost as dominant, scoring 17 points to complete a Wolfpack sweep, in a meet that included Columbia Falls and Bigfork.

Bissen’s winning time was 18:20.9, and sophomores Caitryn Vander Vloedt, Jamie Murphy and Anika Ackerly all scored for the Pack, as did junior Hailey Fiala.

Columbia Falls sophomore Tessa Pacheco was the top non-Wolfpack runner, taking eighth; Bigfork’s Hadley Nollan was next, running a season-best 22:17.5.

Columbia Falls’ girls had 54 points and Bigfork scored 79.

Nathan Turner, who won in 16:16.4, joined with Gabe Ackerly, Duncan Young and Max Mangold to give the Glacier boys a 1-2-3-4 finish.

The Columbia Falls duo of Connor Jordan and Eamon Schule, both sophomores, broke up the pack of Glacier runners.

Jordan ran a personal best of 17:10.0; Glacier’s Young has had a PR of 16:28.7.

Bigfork’s top boys finisher was Otto Schurke in 12th.

Columbia Falls was second at 45 points and Bigfork scored 82.
