POST FALLS — POST FALLS — Junior Brooks Judd scored in the fourth minute for the 4A Panthers, which added another goal on an own goal in the 30th minute in a win over the 6A Trojans at Post Falls High.

Junior Cruz Andrich scored in the 50th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1 for the Trojans.

“We played them really close and dominated the time of possession in the match,” Post Falls coach Gabe Lawson said. “But sometimes when we give up a pass in the middle of the field, we don’t deal with the things after that well. We had our most dynamic day of attacking, but missed the goal several times.”

"This was a great matchup for us," Coeur d'Alene Charter coach Craig Daigle said. "Post Falls has some really good athletes. I've been impressed with Cruz Andrich's progress over the past few years and he didn't disappoint tonight. We knew we had to shut him down to get a win and our back line, especially Liam Garr-Coles, did a great job of slowing him down. I was proud of our men for playing 80 minutes tonight."
