Theresa (Terry) Campbell
Columbia Basin Herald | UPDATED 6 hours, 32 minutes AGO
Theresa (Terry) Campbell received her heavenly wings on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving behind a family who loved her dearly and a lifetime of quietly helping others.
Theresa was born Nov. 5, 1941, in Grafton, North Dakota, the daughter of Florian and Sophie (Pokrzywinski) Kasprick. She was a devout Catholic whose faith showed most clearly in how she treated people. If someone needed help, she helped, usually without anyone else knowing about it. She spent countless hours walking alongside those struggling with addiction, offering understanding, encouragement and a helping hand.
She also had a special heart for veterans, even bringing homeless veterans home for a shower, a meal and clean clothes, and then helping them navigate the system to receive the VA benefits they had earned. She never wanted recognition; helping someone get back on their feet was enough.
Theresa believed it was never too late to learn something new. At 60, she proudly earned her high school diploma. She became a Master Gardener and loved sharing her green thumb, knowledge, and plants with others. In her younger years, she worked as a nursing assistant and hosted Home Interiors decorating parties, but the job she loved most was being at home and raising her children.
Nothing mattered more to Theresa than her family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Mike; her children Scott Campbell (Vicki), Michelle Price (Rich), Holly Baskett (Rob), and Kerri Campbell (Jay); her grandchildren William Berry, Ashley Campbell, Rachelle Buchmann (Chris), Brandon Price (Kelly), Samantha Burgess (Jordan), Jacob Price (Cait) and Brady Baskett; her great-grandchildren Levi and Grace Lynn Buchmann, Claire and Charlie Price, Hudson and Brooks Burgess, and Palmer and Jett Price; her brother Jim (Barb) Kasprick, sister-in-law Bertha Kasprick and brother-in-law Roger (Lori) Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.
Theresa was strong-willed, determined, deeply protective of those she loved, and remarkably generous to those who needed her. She didn't talk much about the good she did; she simply did it. Her family will remember her faith, her resilience, her green thumb and, most of all, the unwavering way she loved them.
The family is deeply grateful to the Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room staff and the team at Harborview Medical Center for the exceptional care, compassion, and dignity they gave Theresa and her family during her final days.
After a lifetime of quietly extending her hand to others, Theresa's family finds peace in knowing that she is now home, her work here complete. Well done, good and faithful servant.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Oct. 23, with Rosary at 10 a.m. and funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Of Fatima Catholic Church, Moses Lake, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Theresa's favorite charity, St Jude Children's Hospital.
