Trudy G. Price Siefke

Trudy G. Price Siefke was born Oct. 25, 1944, to John Daniel Price and Patricia Bowsman in Shirlyn Township, Pennsylvania.

She died Aug. 18, 2026.

She was raised in Trego, Montana, graduated from Eureka class of 1962. Her childhood was that of a ranch lifestyle. Cattle ranching, bucking bales all over Lincoln and Flathead counties, riding horses in local parades, riding the range and even a handful of pack trips deep into the Bob Marshall as her dad was a packer for the Sunset Ranch for a time - including one wild and scary encounter with a wounded sow grizzly.

Trudy married Raymond Siefke in 1966, where she took on the role of stepmother to his children and welcomed a boy of their own that December.

She enjoyed countless outdoor activities from camping, fishing, hunting, huckleberry picking, mushrooming, firewood cutting and the gathering of cached pinecones for reforestation purposes. Home life at the Siefke's was somewhat of a mini farm at times with milk cows, pigs, chickens rabbits, and of course horses - a love for which she never lost.

A large garden was also a big part of her life. Trudy was busy canning the goods she gathered, grown, or harvested. The pantry shelves were stocked with a wide variety.

Trudy also helped care for a special lady named Joan Torgison, who became more of a friend than somebody she worked for and had fond memories of that time. She worked at a few casinos around town - the old Town Pump location, Torgy's, Maggies and Maggies 2.

Whether she was giving a bully on a school bus a bloody nose or knocking an unruly customer out, she sometimes became the center of attention by accident. Other times it was from a trophy buck or a bull elk she had taken or one of her many off-color jokes she would tell for a laugh.

Trudy is preceded in death by her parents John Price and Jean Price (the only mother she ever knew); her husband Raymond Siefke; three siblings, John D. Price II, Mike Price and Michele Price Cluka; and two stepchildren Wayne Siefke and Jeanette Cummings.

She is survived by a sister Toby Elliot; stepchildren Tim Siefke, Shirley Hirst, Diane Siefke and Bruce Siefke; and son Johnny Siefke.

No service will be held per her request.

May this unique soul find peace in the hereafter and her spirit and memory live on in all who knew her.
