The Frank J. Harwood Initiative recently received a generous boost from two local organizations, with both the Coeur d’Alene Eagles Auxiliary and Kootenai Title each donating $1,000 to support the Initiative’s work in the community.
The two donations reflect the strong spirit of giving among local businesses, organizations and their members who are committed to supporting nonprofits and making a difference in the lives of others.
Kootenai Title’s $1,000 donation comes from a unique employee fundraising tradition. Each year, employees contribute $5 per week for the privilege of wearing jeans to work. Twice a year, employees select a nonprofit organization to receive the funds raised through the program.
The Coeur d’Alene Eagles Auxiliary raised its $1,000 donation through its monthly 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the raffle are designated by the Auxiliary to support a charitable cause or organization.
The Eagles Auxiliary’s ongoing fundraising efforts demonstrate its commitment to giving back to the community and supporting organizations that make a difference locally.
Together, the two $1,000 donations provide $2,000 in support for the Frank J. Harwood Initiative and represent the generosity and community spirit that help local nonprofits continue their missions.
The Frank J. Harwood Initiative extends its sincere appreciation to the employees of Kootenai Title and the members of the Coeur d’Alene Eagles Auxiliary for their generous support and commitment to the community.
