PREP FOOTBALL: Torr, Timberlake run past Colville; Coeur du Christ romps

COLVILLE, Wash. — Junior Joe Torr ran for 153 yards and two touchdowns and caught one touchdown pass for the Timberlake Tigers in a 39-7 romp over the Colville Crimson Hawks on Friday night. 

Senior quarterback Ryker Brennan threw for 96 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 67 yards and another two scores for Timberlake (3-3), which has won two of its last three games. 

Timberlake hosts Clarkston, Wash., next Friday. 

Colville is 1-4.

WORLEY — Junior Beckett Beyer caught four touchdown passes from junior quarterback Grant Clemens, two in the second quarter, for the Saints in a nonleague win over the Loggers at the Marimn Health Coeur Center. 

Clemens, who finished with seven passing touchdowns, also ran for a 65-yard score for Coeur du Christ (6-0), which faces Lakeside next Friday at the Marimn Health Coeur Center. 

Potlatch is 3-3.

GRANGEVILLE — The Lumberjacks dipped to 1-5, 1-2 in Central Idaho League play with a loss to the Bulldogs (5-1, 2-0) at Grangeville High.

St. Maries returns to league play against visiting Priest River on Oct. 16.

SILVERTON — Senior linebacker Reece Williams had a 60-yard fumble return for a touchdown for the Miners in a nonleague win over the Mustangs at Sather Field. 

Junior quarterback Cooper Miller ran for two touchdowns and threw another to Williams for Wallace, which shut out Deary in the second half. 

Senior Hank Larson also ran for a touchdown for Wallace (6-0), which hosts Clark Fork next Friday. 

Deary is 2-4.

THOMPSON FALLS, Mont. — The Wildcats dropped to 0-6 on the season with a loss to the Blue Hawks (5-1) at Thompson Falls High.

Kellogg returns to Central Idaho League play at Priest River next Friday.
