Sue Husband Lee, 64, passed away on Oct. 20, 2025, in Whitefish after a prolonged illness. Throughout her illness, Sue was gracious, kind and loving to everyone who crossed her path. Her fun-loving husband, Darwin Lee, was her right hand, and his daily support was Sue's best medicine.
Sue was born in Rochester, Minnesota, on Jan. 30, 1961, to Darlene Granberg Husband and Richard Lorin Husband. She grew up in Rochester, Minnesota, then as a young adult moved to Montana. She spent a number of years in Gallatin County before settling in Whitefish with her newfound family.
She is survived by her husband Darwin Lee; her amazing stepson Terry Lee; and two fine grandchildren Justice and Pierceson; as well as her mother, two brothers and a sister. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and many beloved pets.
A celebration of life with family, dear friends and caregivers will be held at 3 p.m. on Oct. 18 at the Lee Residence in Whitefish. Some light nibbles will be provided.
