Barbara “Barb” Jean Robinson (Lieb), 94, passed away surrounded by family Sept. 13, 2026, in Albany, Ore. Barbara, the second daughter of Wesley and Stella Lieb, was born Nov. 15, 1931, in Wallace, Idaho.

After graduating from Wallace High School in 1949, she married and moved to Corvallis in 1954. She worked as a bookkeeper for Oregon State University’s motor pool for 31 years. She raised three daughters and was an avid golfer, sports fan, and baker, always on the sidelines cheering on her family. Barbara was a force to be reckoned with, a witty woman who fought back at the challenges life threw at her with strength and humor. A matriarch and role model, she will be remembered for her strength, love, and commitment to family.

Barbara is survived by her three daughters: Kathy Richey and husband Gaylord of Beaverton, Ore.; Susan Kohnle and partner Val Jolley of Portland, Ore.; Deborah VanKeulen and husband George of Albany, Ore.; her six grandchildren: Sheri Snuffer, Nicole Lewis, Kristin Dunn, Cassandra VanKeulen, Katie Kohnle, and Erik VanKeulen; and six great-grandchildren: Emma and Kiley Snuffer, Jackson and Xander Sterrett, and Sidney and Riley Dunn.

In keeping with her wishes, no public service will be held.
