Coach Kianna Barnett and her St. Regis Lady Tiger netters have been steadily improving all season and Barnett is starting to realize her team’s true potential.

In proof of their ever-improving play, the Tigers fell to visiting Hot Springs Thursday but took the Savage Heat to the full five games this time, unlike the first time when they fell in three at Hot Springs earlier this season.

“We are definitely turning a corner,” Barnett said, “fine tuning and hoping to find further success in the next couple weeks.”

The Tigers have two home District14C matches on tap this week, hosting Alberton Thursday and Noxon Saturday.

Khila Teeters led St. Regis in the match with Hot Springs hitting four kills, three aces and seven assists, Daisy Sansom had 11 digs and seven assists and Jacey Pruitt added four kills.
