Police Calls: Lots of suspicious, disorderly behavior

Sept. 22 

A male showed up on Sweet Water Lane in a green Chevy and parked in front of the caller’s house and the caller would like him to be moved along. The vehicle was found to be parked legally. 

Someone found a pair of sunglasses. 

A trailer could not leave the farmers market because a black Suburban was blocking the way. 

The caller heard a loud banging noise and saw a male outside the front door on Baker Avenue. 

The caller, who was in possession of the vehicle’s only key, believed his VW Jetta had been stolen. 

Sept. 23 

An employee asked that a transient hanging out and talking to customers on East Second Street was moved along. 

A vehicle hit a crosswalk sign on Baker Avenue. 

Someone reported having a phone stolen from her vehicle at a business on Highway 93. 

The caller is concerned about a potential cat hoarding situation on Edgewood Place. 

Three males on bikes were counseled on their driving behavior. 

Sept. 25 

Someone thought it was suspicious that a man with a long gray beard and a grocery bag was walking around mumbling to himself. 

Another caller believed it was suspicious that a man was lighting things on fire on East Second Street. He was concerned the fire may get out of hand. 

An incident of road rage on Baker Avenue involved males in a black Ford F-150 harassing a cyclist. 

Five or six teenage boys were reportedly yelling obscenities and slurs and trying to intimidate the caller on East Second Street. 

Someone was urinating in public on Baker Avenue and Railway Street.
