My Glacier Village, a local nonprofit supporting seniors who are aging in place, invites the community to its annual Sip & Sample Autumn Stroll in downtown Kalispell Oct.17.

The Sip & Sample Autumn Stroll is a progressive tasting experience where participants will be able to sample small-plate bites, beer, wine and cocktails from a slate of restaurants, eateries and breweries. Transportation will be available from the Montana Trolley Company during the event, which is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m.

The stroll will start and end with welcome and after parties at the Red Lion Inn. There will be games, trivia, raffles, silent auctions and live music by Wai Mizutani and Collette Jones. "Historian-at-large" Bruce Gutherie will be along for the stroll to provide some history and trivia on Kalispell's historic downtown.

“This year's theme revolves around Kalispell's colorful past!" event coordinator Mary Wallce said in a press release. "Who can resist two fabulous parties with a taste of Kalispell and a taste of history in between!”

Tickets are $60 and $65 at the door and may be purchased at MyGlacierVillage.com or by calling 406-250-8784. Space is limited to 124 people.
