Chris Dasios, 68, originally from Troy, Montana, passed away on Sept. 30, 2026.

Chris was a man of passion, humor and strong opinions. Never afraid to speak his mind, he had a way of making people laugh and leaving a lasting impression on those around him.

Proud of his Greek heritage, Chris had a deep appreciation for history, culture and learning. He spent many years living in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he taught English and shared his knowledge with others. His love of history and his connection to his Greek roots were important parts of who he was.

An avid sports fan, Chris loved cheering on his beloved Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Dodgers. He also enjoyed fishing and finding happiness in the simple pleasures of life.

Chris is survived by his wife, Eleni; his sons, Sam and George; and his brother, Jim. His humor, passion and unmistakable personality will live on in the memories and stories shared by those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, when family and friends can gather to honor his memory and celebrate a life well lived.

Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg and Riddle Funeral Home of Libby, Montana. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
