Trey Ramey had a career night against Helena.

The Wolfpack junior ran for 205 yards and four touchdowns to power Glacier to a 49-13 victory over the Bengals on Senior Night Friday at Legends Stadium.

Ramey's night included a 75-yard scamper in the third quarter that helped Glacier take a 35-6 advantage.

"It's all the O-line honestly, just all of our schemes all week," Ramey said. "It's how we attacked this week after having not the game we wanted in the first half last week (against Sentinel), but we picked it up where we left off and attacked with purpose tonight."

Outside of Ramey's standout showing it was another banner night for the Wolfpack all around.

"Right now we are really playing together," Wolfpack coach Grady Bennett said. "I think our guys are understanding situations in the game, so offensively, defensively and on special teams we are just really playing smart football."

Cooper Pelc helped out in all three phases, catching two touchdowns on offense with a pass break up and tackle for loss on defense. He capped it all off with 37-yard punt return that set up his second touchdown catch — a 42-yarder from Cash Keim — on the next play.

Pelc connected with Keim on the Wolfpack's opening drive for a 36-yard touchdown pass on the third play of the game to put Glacier on the board 7-0.

After the teams traded a few punts, Glacier put together an 11-play, 78-yard drive that ended with Ramey's first score from 18 yards out.

Helena answered. Reece Silvonen found Tyse Todorovich for a 5-yard pitch and catch to cap a drive helped by two Glacier pass interference flags. The extra point was no good.

The Wolfpack didn't fret though, as Ramey capped off an 80-yard drive to answer from one yard out to make it 21-6.

After Glacier forced a quick punt, Pelc found some space thanks to his blockers to get up to the Bengals 42-yard-line. Keim found him streaking down the middle of the field on the next play for a touchdown to extend the lead to 28-6 before half.

Out of the half Helena kept Glacier to just four plays offensively in the third quarter, but one of those plays was Ramey's 75-yard touchdown. He curved through the Helena defense nearly untouched on his way to make it 35-6.

"It was a play we had been running all night and we knew (a big play) was there," Ramey said. "I got through the line, they had great blocks and then the second level and made a move on the safety. From there i just didn't want to get caught."

Helena answered back with a 19-play drive that took the rest of the third quarter and was capped off by a Chase Foster 8-yard reception from Silvonen.

Glacier's offense sealed the deal on the next drive with Ramey's fourth score of the day, this one from 3 yards out.

"We knew (Helena) would never quit," Bennett said. "In the third quarter we only ran four plays, they had the ball the entire quarter. They were doing a good job of chipping away, getting 3 or 4 yards a play.

"Credit to our defense for stopping them and our offense responds. Then after that long drive where they did get in to end the quarter, our offense comes back out and goes on a punishing long drive."

Tate Kahler then intercepted Silvonen to set up Kyle West, who put a cherry on top with a 13-yard run into the end zone.

Glacier now prepares for a Crosstown showdown with Flathead on Thursday at 7 p.m.
