Ingrid Serra, 82, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and memories of those who cherished her.
Ingrid was born on Oct. 15, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, to Max and Rosa Trommer. On Nov. 13, 1965, she married the love of her life, Raymond Serra, in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 1969, Ingrid and Raymond made Montana their home, where they built a life filled with family, love and treasured memories.
Ingrid was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Rosa Trommer; her husband, Raymond Serra; her beloved grandsons, Fillip Serra and Dylan McClain; and her loving big sister, Eleanor DeLuca
She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts, including her daughter, Christine Hilde (Todd) of Pocatello, Idaho; her son, Ray Serra Jr. of Coram; her grandsons, Troy (Veronica) Hilde of League City, Texas; and Erick Serra of Gillette, Wyoming; her great-granddaughters, Amelia and Olivia, League City, Texas; nephew, Rick Deluca, and niece, Kim DeLuca Solan, both of West Warwick, Rhode Island.
Ingrid's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the members of Canyon Community Church for all the support and help they gave Ingrid over the years. She loved her church family and often spoke about how kind they always were to her.
A celebration of Ingrid's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 24, at Canyon Community Church in Coram. A potluck luncheon will follow the service.
Ingrid will be remembered for the love she gave her family and for the many memories she created throughout her life. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and legacy will live on through the generations she leaves behind.
May she rest peacefully, reunited with those she loved and lost, and forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
