STATE TIMBER SALE CR100485, COUSIN EDDY A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 4053 Cavanaugh Bay Road, Coolin, ID at 9:00 a.m. local time, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 for an estimated 2,405 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Idaho Department of Lands, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $24,014.95 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $240,149.50. The successful bidder’s deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract. The Ordinance 19A was the current Ordinance in affect regarding animals allowed and lot size requirement for large animals, when the first horse was located on their property May 2023. Ordinance 19A required one acre per horse and required two acres of land to allow for two horses. This Ordinance was amended in August of 2024 requiring 2 acres of land to have any horses and allowed for two horses on 2 acres of land.
