Bruce Leo Basler passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026.

Outside of beekeeping, Bruce had a lifelong interest in old cars, with a particular fondness for 1934 Fords. He also enjoyed stock-car racing and attended dirt-track races throughout the western United States over the years.
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy; his parents, Paul and Montana “Tana” Basler; and his half-brother, Dave.
He is survived by his children, Paul (Miranda), Tracee (Bill), and Kyle (Katie); his grandchildren, Tucker, Madison, Owen and Audrey; his siblings, Ted, Roseanne and Jim; as well as extended family and friends.
Bruce passed away Oct. 4, 2026, exactly 51 years to the day after he and Cindy were married, making the date especially meaningful to his family.
