Today, Adam Schluter and Mackie Hockett are getting married.

On Saturday, they're hosting the season's final Monday Night Dinner at their Coeur d'Alene home.

"It's going to be an incredibly special evening to bring the whole community together, with a lot of love in the air," Schluter said.

Those planning to attend need to bring a dish and a $10 donation, with proceeds supporting the bands.

The music lineup includes John Wayne Williams, The Walleyes and a mix of favorite Monday Night Dinners bands. There will also be apple pressing, bonfire, dancing, fall harvest games, free beer and plenty of laughs.

Schluter has hosted more than 100 Monday Night Dinners since he started them in 2018, so he could meet people after moving to Coeur d'Alene.

Over the years, the event has brought thousands of friends and strangers to his backyard for an evening of camaraderie and conversation over eats and drinks.

Saturday's Monday Night Dinner starts at 2 p.m. at 1037 N. Third St. All are welcome. Schluter thanks the community for their support and for making him feel welcome in Coeur d'Alene.

"We'd love to bring the whole community together with it and think it'd be a perfect end to the season," Schluter said. "It's going to be really special."
