BRUCE — An unidentified truck driver sustained unspecified injuries when his tractor trailer was hit by an oncoming train Tuesday morning near Bruce.

The collision occurred about noon near the intersection of West Lee Road and South Booker Road, said Adams County Sheriff Dale Wagner.

"He was moving. He wasn't stuck on the tracks," Wagner said.

No one on the train was injured, he said.

Because the collision took place on the railroad tracks, it will be investigated by the Federal Railroad Administration, Wagner said.

Derrey said any timeline would be subject to change, but spring 2027 for both is the goal.
