Libby resident supports Judge Eddy for state Supreme Court

I am writing this letter to show my support for Amy Eddy as my candidate choice for Montana Supreme Court. 

A good judge puts fairness first, and holds bad actors accountable.

I feel Judge Amy Eddy will keep politics out of the courtroom, protect our individual freedoms, and uphold the Montana Constitution. She also has a proven track record of holding powerful, wealthy interests accountable when they harm Montana working families. 

Our recent loss of the Card Clinic has made me see the importance for the community of Libby and Lincoln County to have someone in the Montana Supreme Court that will work hard for us and the good of all Montanans.

She has a great track record and has overseen nearly 2,000 asbestos cases since 2018, when she was chosen by the Montana Supreme Court to serve as the Asbestos Claims Court Judge. She presided over many cases involving the Libby asbestos tragedy, and has ruled in Libby claimants’ favor against defendants for the harm they caused the community.

The outcome of this election will directly affect cases for those affected by asbestos contamination in Libby and their search for justice.
